 Welcome to the website of the Nursing Policy and Outcome Center This web page was developed to provide you with useful information about the kind of outcomes, policy and studies we perform, our specific services, and current projects.The center was established in 2006 with the support from The China Medical Board of New York. The mission of our Nursing Policy and Outcome Center is to improve healthcare using healthcare outcomes research and by teaching and mentoring nurses. It also aims to inform organizations on the nursing perspective on various policy issues and programs, contributing to health policy formulation and program development, and working closely with the nursing community.Furthermore, we aim to focus on what needs to occur in the nursing workforce to ensure that all Thais have access to health services when and where they need them, that the quality of those services is continually improved, and that the system can provide the necessary care for today and has the capacity to identify and adapt to the emerging needs and challenges of tomorrow. Our nurses will continue to participate in health-system policy making, thereby helping to create a system that promotes a healthier population and will be capable of caring for future generations.
